Jinhua Chishan Park by ZEHO ECO was included in the list.

Jinhua Chishan Park is at the intersection of Huancheng South Road and Dongshi South Street. It is next to the Asian Games sub village in the East and the People’s Hospital in the north. It covers an area of 465,000 square meters and has a green area of 310,000 square meters. It is the largest comprehensive hilly ecological park in the first ring of Jinhua. It is full of birds, flowers and butterflies. In the whole process, from the initial construction to the completion of the park, and then to the management, maintenance and maintenance of the park, the ecological and environmental protection concepts such as low-carbon and recycling have been throughout.

Before construction, the site of Chishan Park mainly includes demolition site, Hongyan mountain, pond, road and a small amount of vegetation. The project adapts measures to local conditions, preserves the original hilly landform features and original plant communities to the maximum extent, connects the pond water system based on the original landscape skeleton, scientifically mixes peat soil and organic fertilizer to improve sandstone red soil, builds micro terrain and Red Rock mountainous landscape according to the mountain situation, and reduces carbon emissions during construction by minimizing disturbance. And build subtropical ecological plant communities, repair damaged ecosystems, enrich plant seasonal colors, and also play a multi-level and high-efficiency carbon sequestration effect. The water bank restoration also respects nature, and uses low-carbon natural materials such as plants, logs, gravels and stones, and selects four ecological engineering methods such as natural vegetation revetment and Gabion revetment to carry out natural revetment restoration; Meanwhile, the garden road is paved with permeable materials, further implementing the concept of sponge city.

After completion, the Chishan Park is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with a series of scenic spots. The plant landscape simulates the natural community of Nanshan and Beishan, and plans seven colorful health forests in the mountains. In the valley water system, many natural flower landscapes such as Plum Blossom, Eight Immortals, Azalea, Iris, Cherry Blossom and Compositae are designed. 60 groups of plant landscapes are designed according to different solar terms, with about 700 plant varieties. The flowers are blooming in spring, fragrant in summer, magnificent and colorful in autumn, and the trees are dancing in winter. While ensuring a wonderful tour experience in all seasons, it also realizes the continuous carbon collection and carbon fixation of plants, to promote low-carbon and green urban development.

A carbon sink monitoring and management platform has been built in the park. The carbon sink data of 12,900 arbors can be visualized, providing a basis for further utilization; The park comprehensive management platform tailored for Chishan Park integrates intelligent service, intelligent management, intelligent operation and intelligent experience to achieve intelligent management and maintenance of the park, energy saving and efficiency improvement. The goal of reducing maintenance labor cost and management cost has been initially achieved. It is expected that the maintenance cost can be saved by over 10% this year. With the improvement and upgrading of the irrigation system in the region, this figure can gradually rise to 15-20%, and the carbon emission in the maintenance process will also be reduced.

Chishan Park in Jinhua integrates ecological restoration, forest health and recreation.
